Sprâncenele pot să scoată în evidență trăsăturile feței sau să le înăsprească, făcând fața să pară neingrijită. Îngrijirea și aranjarea sprâncenelor este așadar esențială. Mai ales când sprâncenele sunt ca ale mele, rare, subțiri și blonde. Eu încă nu am descoperit rețeta perfectă pentru sprâncenele mele, și asta se poate vedea și în pozele de pe blog: deși în realitate, sprâncele mele sunt ceva mai conturate, tot se vede ca-s rare. La asta încă lucrez. Dar până atunci, acum vă spun despre al 2lea kit de sprâncene pe care îl dețin.
Eyebrows can make or break the best features of your face, making it look like it isn't cared for. Grooming your eyebrows is essential. Especially when your eyebrows are like mine: thin, rare and blonde. I have yet to discover the perfect trick for my brows, and you can figure that one out just by looking at my pictures on this blog: even though my eyebrows are a little more visibly filled in real life, you can still see they are sparse. That I need to work on. Till I figure that one out, I should tell you about the second brow kit I own.
Dacă nu v-ați dat seama încă este vorba despre kit-ul de sprâncene de la MUA (Make Up Academy) pe care l-am achiziționat cu ceva timp în urmă de pe site-ul MUA. Din câte știu dacă locuiți în Regatul Unit puteți găsi produsele MUA și în Superdrug, nu doar pe site-ul MUA. La preț este destul de moderată și costă aproximativ 16 lei (3,5 lire sterline). Mai trebuie să menționez că acest kit este disponibil în momentul de față într-o singură paletă de nuanțe, neavând varietate prea mare.
If you didn't realize it yet, I'm talking about the MUA (Make Up Academy) pro-brow kit which I bought a while back from the MUA site. As far as I know, if you live in the UK you can also find this brand in Superdrug stores. It has a fairly cheap price of 3,5 GBP. I must also mention that this kit is only available in one color palette, so there isn't much color variety. 



Când vine vorba de ambalaj, acesta îmi place și nu-mi place. Cele 3 nuanțe de fard pulbere și ceara pentru sprâncene împreună cu accesoriile (o mini pensetă și o mini pensulă unghiulară cu 2 capete) sunt ambalate într-o carcasă neagră de plastic, care conține și o oglindă. Plasticul pare a fi același material precum ambaljul paletei MUA Undressed de care vă ziceam aici, însă întărit oarecum de oglinda lipită în interior. Că tot vorbim de oglindă, nu cred că este cea mai protejată, și nici fardurile, având în vedere sistemul de închidere cu magneți (slabi). La scuturarea ușoară a paletei magneții se separă, lăsând accesoriile să plonjeze în cădere liberă. Not nice! - Aș fi preferat un sistem cu blocator. Iar accesoriile...penseta e utilă dar pensulița e de cea mai proastă calitate și nu merită a fi folosită, din punctul meu de vedere. Vă recomand să investiți într-o pensulă pentru sprâncene.
When it comes to packaging, I love it and hate it at the same time. The 3 shades of powder, the eyebrow wax and the mini accessories (mini tweezers and a double ended mini angled brow brush) are encased in a black shiny plastic case which also contains a mirror. The plastic seems to be just like the one I described in my review for the Undressed palette, however it seems more durable, probably due to the glued mirror. And since we're talking, the mirror is not really protected, nor are the powders, given the fact that the case closes through (very weak) magnets. A light shake of the closed palette may release the magnets, making the mini accessories fall from the case, which makes me think about the damage this would receive in a shaky travel. Not nice! - I would've rather had a blocker system. And about the accessories...the mini tweezers are indeed useful but the mini brow brush is the worst quality ever and is not worth using, from my point of view. I would recommend you invest in a brow brush.



Cantitativ, produsul este unul destul de mare, având 5,9 g ( 1,47 g / nuanță). Calitativ, nu pot să zic că sunt foarte încântată de această trusă, însă cu siguranță este mai bună decât cea pe care o foloseam anterior. Fardurile sunt destul de slab pigmentate, motiv pentru care nu o recomand celor cu firul de păr închis la culoare. La capitolul rezistență însă adună puncte în plus față kit-ul de sprâncene pe care îl foloseam anterior, întrucât deși trebuie să insist ceva mai mult pentru un rezultat bun, odată aplicat fardul rămâne acolo până decid eu să-l sterg.
In quantity, the product is pretty generous, weighing 5,9 g (1,47 g/ pan). In quality, I can't say I am super thrilled of this kit, but it is surely better than my previous one. The shadows have more of a poor pigmentation so I wouldn't recommend this kit for those of you with darker hair. In the resistance departament is where it gains points to my previous kit. Even though I have to insist a little for the color to show up, once I set it, it stays on until I decide to remove it. 
Dacă e să le luăm pe rând: / If you want to take them one by one:

• cea mai închisă nuanță este un maro roșiatic, cu o slabă tentă de cenușiu. Îl folosesc pentru a oferi dimensiune sprâncenelor mele.
• The darker shade is a reddish brown with a hint of ash. I use it to give my eyebrows a little dimension.
• Nuanța deschisă trage mai mult spre cenușiu și o folosesc pentru a face conturul inițial al sprâncenelor mele.
• The light shade is more of a light ashy brown and I tend to use it to fill in my brows in the fist stage.

Pe scurt, kit-ul este bunicel pentru persoanele cu păr blond sau șaten, fardurile sunt slab pigmentate dar sunt buildable și au o rezistență sporită. Ambalajul lasă de dorit din punct de vedere al siguranței, întrucât este „accesorizat” cu 2 magneți slabi. Prețul kit-ului e 3,5 lire sterline pe site-ul MUA sau în UK în magazinele Superdrug. Eu l-am numit kit-ul  best of 2012, pentru faptul că este mai bun decât kit-ul de la Oriflame în unele aspecte. 
In a nutshell, this kit is ok-ish for blondes and browns, the shadows have poor pigmentation, but they are buildable and they have a pretty good resistance on the brows. The packaging is not what I wanted, as the case closes with to poor magnets that get separated at a mild shake. You can buy this kit for 3,5 pounds on MUA site or Superdrug. I named it my best brow product in 2012 as it is better than the previous kit I used, which was the one from Oriflame, regarding some aspects.

Am tot zis că voi face câteva propuneri de manichiură și machiaj pentru sărbătorile de iarnă și mă trezesc că mai este o săptămână până la Crăciun! Deci azi vă propun o manichiură pentru seara de Crăciun sau seara de Revelion. Inițial vroiam să fie o manichiură „half moon” însă din lipsă de talent prefer să o numesc manichiură abstractă. :)) De asemenea, m-am străduit pe cât posibil să îmi curăț cuticulele de sclipici, dar încă nu mă descurc la capitolul curățat cuticule de ojă prea bine deci excuse me *sigh*
Vă las cu manichiura, cu mențiunea că este un model pe care l-am văzut mai demult într-un salon (mai mult sau mai puțin) și l-am alterat pentru a fi pe placul meu.
I kept telling myself I would do a few makeup and nail looks for the winter holidays and I am just waking up that there's only one week left 'till Christmas! So today, I am showing you a NOTD that you could do for Christmas Eve or for New Year's Eve. Initially I wanted it to be a "half moon" manicure but because of my lack of talent in the field, I'd much rather call it an abstract manicure. :)) Also, I tried my best to clean the glitter off my cuticles but I'm still in the process of finding the right technique to do so, thus please excuse me *sigh*
I'll let you see the nails but first I wanted to state that this is not an original design.

Probabil Sigur ați auzit deja de Firmoo, o companie oftalmologică care face ochelari atât de vedere cât și „de fiță”. De asemenea știți că eu de curând am început să port ochelari, deci am fost mega încântată când mi s-a oferit o pereche de ochelari, pe lângă cei pe care îi aveam eu deja, întrucât puteam să alternez purtarea acestora. Site-ul oferă un sistem virtual de încercare a ochelarilor înainte de cumpărare, așadar puteți vedea exact dacă ochelarii preferați vor arăta bine pe fața voastră sau nu. De asemenea, ei au lansat un program prin care oferă prima pereche de ochelari gratuit, ceea ce înseamnă că voi trebuie să suportați doar taxele de transport.
You've probably surely heard about Firmoo, a company that sells glasses for eyesight problems as well as glasses for fashion purposes. Also you may know that I've recently started wearing glasses, so I was super thrilled when I  was offered a pair of glasses, thinking I would alternate the ones I already have with these ones. The site offers a virtual try on system, so that you know exactly how the glasses will look on you before you buy them. Also they launched a program where they give you the first pair of glasses for free, and all you have to pay is the shipping cost. 



Ochelarii au venit prin curier, la câteva zile după ce am ales modelul și am dat informațiile referitoare la dioptrii &co, împreună cu un etui, o lavetă pentru lentile, un săculeț și 2 șuruburi de rezervă împreună cu o mini șurubelniță. Apreciez cu adevărat etuiul care pare a fi durabil și de calitate, păstrându-mi ochelarii în siguranță în timpul transportului.
The glasses arrived via fast courier, a few days after I chose the style and I had sent my prescription information. They came with a hard case pouch, to hold them, a wipe cloth, a bag and 2 tiny spare screws with a screwdriver for them. I really appreciate the case, as it seems to be of really good quality and encloses my glasses perfectly, keeping them safe when Ițm carrying them around.




Ochelarii pe care eu i-am ales sunt dreptunghiulari și cu ramă întreagă, roșie, din plastic. Lentilele sunt antireflex și potrivite dioptriilor mele. Trebuie să spun că am primit ochelarii ăștia acum aproximativ o lună și că de atunci am cam uitat de existența celorlalți. Și ziceam că voi alterna perechile.. Ador cum acești ochelari îmi încadrează fața, ador culoarea lor, forma lor, însă au și un minus. După cum vedeți în pozele de mai jos, brațele ramei au la capete un mic detaliu mai proeminent care mă incomodează câteodată.
The glasses I chose are rectangular and with a full frame, red and made of plastic. The lenses are antireflective and according to my prescription. I must say that I recieved these glasses about a month ago and I've been wearing them almost daily since, forgetting about my other pair. And I said I would alternate... I love the way these glasses hug my face, I love their color, their shape, however they do have a minus. As you will see in the pictures below, the arms of the frame have a little detail that's a little stucky, and that sometimes makes me uncomfortable.

Pe scurt, ochelarii ăștia au devenit preferații mei, pentru că sunt ușor de curățat, comfortabili (de cele mai multe ori), au etui și lavetă proprie și au deasemenea șuruburi de rezervă. Se așează perfect pe fața mea pentru că am avut șansa să testez înainte cu o poză, pe site-ul celor de la Firmoo, de unde vă puteți lua și voi prima pereche gratuit, cu condiția să plătiți taxele de transport.
In a nutshell, these glasses have become my favourite pair, as they are easy to clean,
comfortable to wear (most of the times), they have their own case and wipe cloth and they also have spare parts. They look good on me because I had the chance to test them before ordering them, using my own picture, on Firmoo, where you can also get your first pair for free, meaning that you only pay the shipping taxes.

În urmă cu ceva vreme vă arătam pe Facebook cum că am primit câteva bunătăți de la MeMeMe, mai exact 3 nuanțe de Dew Pots și un Arch Angel pentru sprâncene. Produsele MeMeMe sunt disponibile fie pe site-ul oficial menționat mai sus, fie, în România prin Outlet Cosmetice. Însă azi vă zic doar despre Dew Pots. Pe site-ul oficial acestea se regăsesc în 11 nuanțe și costă 7,25 lire, iar pe site-ul celor de la Outlet Cosmetice găsiți 9 din cele 11 nuanțe disponibile și costă 70 lei.
A while ago I was showing you on Facebook some goodies I got from MeMeMe, which were 3 shades of Dew Pots and one Arch Angel for my brows. You can purchase MeMeMe through the official website mentioned above or in Romania through Outlet Cosmetice. But today I'll talk to you about the Dew Pots. You can find 11 shades available on the official website, that cost 7,25 pounds and you can find 9 of the 11 shades available on Outlet Cosmetice for 70 lei each.



Dew Pots sunt farduri cremă ambalate într-un recipient de tip borcănel care conține 3 ml produs. Recipientul pare a fi din sticlă și se închide prin filet cu un căpăcel negru de plastic. Capacul are tipărit un model dantelat și numele produsului, iar pe fundul borcănașului este lipită o etichetă care conține informații precum ingredientele, numele nuanței din borcănaș, valabilitatea produsului (6 luni de la deschidere) sau cantitatea de produs.
Un minus al acestui tip de ambalaj este faptul că trebuie să îți bagi degetul în produs ca să îl aplici, ceea ce poate implica adunarea produsului sub unghie. Eu recomand aplicarea cu o pensulă plată.
 Dew Pots are cream eyeshadows that are kept in a jar like container with 3 ml of product each. The container seems to be made out of glass and it closes by screwing a black plastic lid on top. On the lid you can see printed the name of the product and a lace-like pattern, and on the bottom of the container you can find a label that provides information about the ingredients, the name of the respective shade, the product's life length (6 months post opening) or the product quantity you can find inside the container.
A minus of this type of packaging is the fact that you have to stick your finger in the product to get it out, which can result in an accumulation of product underneath the fingernail. I recommend using a flat eyeshadow brush for this type of product.



Eu dețin în momentul de față 3 nuanțe din cele 11 disponibile: Woodland Truffle, Tangled Ivy și Willow Whisper. După cum ziceam mai sus, fiecare borcănel conține 3 ml produs. Cât despre calitatea acestora, nu aș putea fi mai încântată! Nu doar că sunt incredibil de pigmentate, însă le-am purtat perioade lungi de timp (~12h) și nu s-au mișcat de pe pleoapă cu toate că nu le-am aplicat peste nicio bază. Nu mi s-au adunat în pliul pleoapei nici dacă am purtat fardul cremă de unul singur pe pleoapă și nici dacă l-am folosit în loc de  bază sub farduri pulbere. Sunt cât se poate de încântată de rezistența lor.
I own at present 3 shades of the 11 one available: Woodland Truffle, Tangled Ivy and Willow Whisper. Like I said above, each jar contains 3 ml of product. As for their quality, I couldn't be more thrilled.  Not only they are incredibly pigmented, but also they are crease resistant. I had them on my lid for around 12 h without primer underneath and they didn't budge.  They didn't crease when I wore them alone and they didn't crease when I used them as a base for normal eyeshadow. I am ecstatic about their resistance. 

• Tangled Ivy - shimmery emerald green (verde smarald, sidefat)

• Willow whisper - shimmery taupe (maro bej sidefat)

• Woodland Truffle - champagne color with glitter (culoarea șampaniei cu bucățele vizibile de sclipici)

Dew Pots sunt farduri cremă ce pot fi folosite fie singure pe toată pleoapa, fie ca bază cremoasă pentru fardurile pulbere, fără să necesite aplicarea unui primer înainte, întrucât nu se adună în pliul pleoapei. Costă 70 lei pe Outlet Cosmetice și 7,25 lire pe site-ul oficial. Din punctul meu de vedere acestea pot fi folosite și ca fard, dar și ca cream eyeliner, în special culorile închise. Sunt pigmentate, deci e necesar foarte puțin produs pentru a se vedea pe pleoapă.
Dew Pots are cream eyeshadows which can be used on their own on the lid, or as a base for other eyeshadows, without the need to apply a primer before, as they are crease resistant. They cost 70 lei on Outlet Cosmetice and 7,25 pounds on the official website. In my opinion, they can be used as eyeshadows but also as a cream eyeliner, esspecially the darker shades. They are rich in pigmentation so you need very little product to make it visible.
