NOTD: Mint mani for Talia Joy

I heard about Talia about a year ago and I was instantly impressed with her bubbly personality, despite her situation. I started following her on Youtube and I took great joy every time I saw her accomplish something new. Like many others before me said. this girl has done in her 13 years more than some would do in a lifetime! She was and is a role model for a lot of people and she proved that it is possible! On her Facebook page I recently saw an album called "Talia's Bucket list" and a lot of pictures of people trying to help her cut things off the list, doing the things she wasn't able to accomplish because her life was cut short. This inspired me and because I don't have a timer over my head, to tell me how much time I got left, I decided to create my own bucket list and try crossing things off. Also this story reminds me of the "one minute fly" animation, which in my view tells you to live your live to the fullest, cause there's no time to waste.

Am auzit povestea Taliei în urmă cu aproximativ un an şi m-a impresionat enorm personalitatea ei, faptul că era tot timpul veselă şi că nu se lăsa învinsă de boală. Am început să o urmăresc pe Youtube şi mă bucuram de fiecare dată când vedeam că reuşeşte încă una din chestiile pe care şi le-a propus. Aşa cum mulţi au spus-o, fetiţa asta a făcut în 13 ani mai multe decât mulţi fac într-o viaţă. A fost şi este un exemplu pentru mulţi şi ne-a dovedit că se poate! Pe pagina de Facebook, am văzut recent un album cu "Talia's Bucket list" şi o grămadă de oameni care făceau pentru ea lucrurile pe care ea nu a apucat să le mai facă. M-a inspirat, şi tocmai fiincă nu am un cronometru de-asupra capului să-mi spună cât mai am de trăit, am decis să fac şi eu asta, o listă şi să încerc să tai cât mai multe lucruri de pe ea. Totodată povestea asta îmi aminteşte de animaţia "one minute fly" care in opinia mea iţi spune să-ţi trăieşti viaţa la maxim, pentru că nu este timp de pierdut.

Today the beauty bloggers from all over the world are celebrating Talia's life and mourning her disappearance, by coating their nails with mint polish, the color of Talia's last manicure on Instagram. I chose to add star stickers because Talia is now among the stars up above, watching us. Rest in peace little one!
Azi blogosfera de beauty din întreaga lume sărbătoreşte viaţa Taliei şi plânge dispariţia acesteia, îmbrăcând ungiile în culoarea mint, culoarea ultimei manichiuri puse de Talia pe Instagram. Eu am ales să adaug autocolante cu steluţe pentru că Talia e acum printre stele, ne priveşte de sus. Odihneşte-te în pace!
