Când mă gândesc la produse unice pe piață, imediat mă gândesc la Ellis Faas. Produsele lor sunt, din punctul meu de vedere, unice datorită formatului în care se prezintă în cea mai mare parte. Produsele lor sunt în proporție de 90 % lichide (cred că singurul produs care nu este lichid este pudra de față), ambalate în ceva ce pe mine mă duce cu gândul la gloanțe.
Whenever I think of unique products on the market, my mind immediately goes to Ellis Faas. Their products are, in my opinion, unique due to their appearence mostly. About 90% of all their products are in liquid form ( I believe that the only thing not liquid is their face powder), and they are put in very unique packages that make me think of bullets.
I own 3 of their products, a mascara, a lipstick Milky Lips (L201) and an eyeshadow Creamy Eyes (E104).
1. Mascara:
+are periuța clasică, ideală pentru genele mele scurte.
- Cel mai mare defect al rimelului e ambalajul, datorită căruia se face risipă de produs, mai mult decât la orice alt rimel pe care l-am avut. Produsul se adună pe „bățul” periuței în cantități destul de mari (vedeți poza mai jos).
+ nu îmi încarcă genele.Per total, acest rimel are aproape același efect ca și Max Factor 2000 Calorie, e ca și fratele lui mai mare, și puțin mai negru :)

-The biggest defect of this mascara is the packiging, because there is a lot of product waste. More than any other mascara I had. The product gathers at the mouth of the pen in pretty substantial quantities, each time I use the mascara. ( see the picture above)
+It doesn't overload or clump my lashes.
Overall, I think this mascara is like the big brother of the Max Factor 2000 Calorie, the effect being just a little more noticable and blacker.

+ Rezistă pe buze fără retuș până la 7 ore. (de asta încă sunt impresionată)
+ Buzele rămân hidratate.
+/- ăsta poate fi și plus și minus, dacă ai reușit să dai pe lângă buze și nu ai șters imediat, sunt mari șanse să rămână pigmentată zona respectivă :)) am pațit-o
Pe scurt, îmi place la nebunie rujul ăsta și cred că este nuanța perfectă de roșu pentru mine.

+It lasts on the lips up to 7 hours without reapplying. (I am still impressed by that)
+The lips remain hydrated.
+/- This can be both a plus and a minus, if you have smugded you lipstick and did not clean it right away, you might find that the smuged area stays pigmented with red :)) It happened to me.
In a nutshell, I really love this lipstick and I think it is the perfect shade of red for me.

3. Eyeshadow.

+ e nevoie de o cantitate foarte mică de produs pentru întreaga pleoapă ( adică o răsucire de „glonț”)
- nu sunt un mare fan al acestei nuanțe, eu fiind foarte albă la piele, dacă scap puțin prea mult arată de parcă m-a bătut cineva.
+/- aceeași problemă ca la ruj, dacă nu ștergi imediat de unde nu ai vrut să îl aplici, o să rămână pătată zona pentru câteva ore.
+ cu toate că e un fard cremos, rezistă pe pleoapă foarte bine fără primer. Eu am adormit cu el pe ochi (nu faceți ca mine că nu e bine ce-am făcut) și m-am trezit cu el intact, exact acolo unde l-am lăsat :) Din punctul ăsta de vedere are nota 11.
Per total, e un fard foarte util, pe care îl pot folosi de unul singur sau ca bază pentru machiaje închise la culoare, fără să mă îngrijorez că nu am pus primer sau că mi se va aduna tot machiajul în pliul pleoapei.

+ I can easily spread it on my eyelid
+ You only need a little amount to cover the entire lid. (you only need to twist the pen once)
- I am not the biggest fan of this color. My skin is super fair, and if I put a little too much, I look like I've been beaten by someone.
+/- Same problem like in the lipstick, if you smere or smudge it where you don't want it and you don't clean it immediately, it tends to leave a mark on the skin, for a few hours.
+ Even though it is a creamy eyeshadow, it lasts on the eyelid without a primer. I fell asleep with it on my eyes (don't do this at home as it is not recommended). Anyway, I woke up and it was intact. From that point of view, I give it an A+.
Overall, it is a very useful creamy eyeshadow, which I can use on its own or as a base for a darker look, without having to worry that I forgot to put primer underneath or that the makeup will crease.

Ca să nu mă lungesc mai tare, mai spun doar că brandul mi-a lăsat în mare o impresie foarte bună, în urma testelor cu aceste 3 produse. De asemenea, admir faptul că aceste produse nu sunt testate pe animale. Sloganul firmei este „Only tested on supermodels” ceea ce mă duce cu gândul la 2 lucruri: calitate și principii morale.
I don't want to make this post any longer than it already is, so I'll just say that this brand has given me a very good impression, as a result of testing these three products. Also, I admire the fact that they don't test on animals. Their slogan is "Only tested on supermodels" which makes me think of 2 things: quality and moral principles.
