În urmă cu aproximativ 2 săptămâni am profitat de oferta MUA (Makeup Academy) de la acea vreme, adică reducerea de 35% și transportul gratuit care se ofereau oricărei comenzi peste 10 lire, cu ocazia obținerii a 35000 like-uri pe pagina lor de Facebook. M-am bucurat când, o săptămână mai târziu aveam avizul în poștă și puteam să încep să testez paletutța Undressed și kitul de sprâncene MUA PRO. Dar postarea aceasta are ca vedetă paleta Undressed.
About 2 weeks ago I took advantage of the MUA (Makeup Academy) offer at the time, meaning the 35% discount with free shipping they were offering to every 10 pound or more order, due to hitting 35000 likes on their Facebook page. I jumped up and down with joy when, one week later, I could play with my new Undressed palette and Pro brow kit. This post stars the Undressed palette.
Prețul întreg al paletei este 4 lire sterline (~23 lei) și poate fi găsită alături de alte palete MUA pe site-ul lor oficial și în UK în magazinele Superdrug.
Fardurile sunt sub formă de pastiluță, aranjate într-o carcasă de plastic tare, negru, cu o parte transparentă, pentru vizibilitatea nuanțelor conținute. Paleta se închide și deschide pe sistem de click, adică printr-un sistem cu blocator. Din acest punct de vedere consider această paletă una eficientă, existând mai puține șanse ca paleta să se deschidă în timpul unei călătorii. Pe de altă parte, carcasa pare destul de casantă, ceea ce mă face să mă gândesc cu groază la transportarea paletei în caz de nevoie. E suficientă o lovitură puțin mai puternică, cum ar fi scăparea din mână, pentru ca paleta să se zgârie sau să se spargă iar fardurile să se împrăștie peste tot.
The eyeshadow is pressed in little pans, placed inside a palette made from black hard plastic, with a transparent case so that the shades would be visible. The palette opens and closes with a click system, meaning there's a little nugget that locks the lid of the palette in place. From this point of view, I consider the palette very efficient, as there are less chances of the palette just opening up by itself during travels. On the other hand, the case seems to be easily breakable, which makes me dread the transportation of this palette when needed. It's enough to drop the palette from your hand for it to scratch and break and the eyeshadow going everywhere. 
Paleta este alcătuită din 12 nuanțe neutre de fard ce se vor a fi dupes după faimoasa paletă NAKED de la Urban Decay. Având în vedere că eu nu dețin paleta NAKED, nu pot face o comparație între cele două însă voi menționa care nuanță se aseamănă cărei nuanțe din paleta mai sus menționată. Paleta conține 9,6 grame de produs, ceea ce înseamnă cam 0,8 grame / nuanță.
This palette is contains 12 neutral shades of eyeshadow which are, according to many bloggers, dupes for the notorious NAKED palette by Urban Decay. Since I don't own the NAKED palette I cannot compare them, however I will mention which shade dupes which NAKED shade. This Palette contains 9.6 grams of product, meaning around 0.8 grams / shade.
The eyeshadows are creamy, pigmented and surprisingly pretty resistant to creasing. Below I have swatched each shade on its own, over an ELF eyelid primer and over a white base.
- Shade 1 (dupe for UD Virgin)
Prima nuanță este o una perfectă pentru iluminarea arcadei. Este un bej pal cu puțin shimmer foarte fin, insesizabil în paletă. Potrivit swatchurilor de pe Temptalia, corespondentul său din paleta NAKED este ceva mai sidefat.
The first shade is perfect for highlighting your browbone. It is a pale beige with very little super fine shimmer, which you can only see when applied. According to the swatches on Temptalia, its NAKED correspondant (Virgin) is a little more shimmery.
- Shade 2 (dupe for Sin)
Nuanța 2 este ceva mai sidefată și este un bej o idee mai închis decât nuanța 1. În paleta NAKED se aseamănă cu Sin, iar din swatch-ul Temptaliei cele două se aseamănă incredibil de bine.
Shade 2 has a little more shimmer in it and it is a darker beige than shade 1. In the NAKED palette, it looks like Sin, and according to Temptalia's swatch, they are very similar.
- Shade 3 (dupe for Naked)
Această nuanță este un maro mat care se aseamănă perfect culorii pielii, astfel că este aproape insesizabil în swatch, deși fardul în sine este foarte pigmentat. Se aseamănă cu Naked din paleta omonimă, însă swatch-ul Temptaliei îmi dă impresia că Naked e puțin mai închis. Totuși s-ar putea să mă înșel și diferența să fie doar din cauza nuanței pielii.
This shade is a matte brown which resembles my skin color perfectly, making it almost invisible in the swatch, even though the eyeshadow is very pigmented. It resembles the Naked shade from its namesake palette, but Temptalia's swatch makes me think that Naked is a bit darker than shade 3, however this could just be the skintone difference.
- Shade 4 (dupe for Sidecar)
Este o nuanță de maro-bronz, cu finish sidefat. Se aseamănă cu Sidecar din paleta NAKED și din câte îmi dau eu seama, Sidecar are un subton roșiatic mai puternic decât Shade 4.
It is a bronzy brown shade with a shimmery finish. It resembles Sidecar from the NAKED palette and as far as I can tell, Sidecar has more ov a reddish undertone than Shade 4.
- Shade 5 (dupe for Buck)
Din păcate n-am reușit să redau prin obiectiv nuanța aceasta, ea fiind în realitate puțin mai închisă. Este un maro-cenușiu mat, cu câteva nuanțe mai închis decât Shade 3. Din paleta NAKED se aseamănă cu Buck și din punctul meu de vedere seamănă izbitor.
Unfortunately I didn't succeed in photographing this shade properly, it being a little darker in reality. It is an ashy dark matte brown, a few shades darker than Shade 3. From the NAKED palette it resembles Buck, and from my point of view, they are very similar.
- Shade 6 (dupe for Half Baked)
Shade 6 este un auriu sidefat, numa' bun pentru a fi folosit în centrul pleoapei sau în colțul interior al ochiului. Se aseamănă cu Half Baked. Diferențele sunt mici, însă cred că cel din paleta UD e mai mult spre coppery-gold decât Shade 6.
Shade 6 is a shimmery gold, perfect for being used in the center of the lid or on the inner corner of the eye. It resembles Half Baked. The differences are small, but I believe that the UD one is more of a coppery gold than this one.
- Shade 7 (dupe for Smog)
Culoare foarte asemănătoare bronzului, Shade 7 este un maro „bronzat” sidefat destul de puternic. Se aseamănă cu Smog.
This is a bronze color. Shade 7 is a shimmery bronzy brown that's very pigmented. It resembles Smog very well, in my opinion.
- Shade 8 (dupe for Darkhouse)
Din nou, nu am reușit să redau culoarea fardului în recipient, însă în swatch aceasta se apropie foarte mult de realitate. Aș descrie această nuanță ca fiind un maro ciocolatiu închis, cu sidef auriu. Se aseamănă cu Darkhouse din paleta NAKED.
Again, I didn't manage to capture the color of the eyeshadow in the pan, but in the swatch it comes really close to what it look like in real life. I would describe this color as a dark chocolate brown with golden shimmer. It resembles Darkhouse from the NAKED palette.
- Shade 9 (dupe for Toasted)
Shade 9 este un roz murdar, maroniu, având un finish perlat. Se aseamănă cu foarte bine cu Toasted, în opinia mea.
Shade 9 is a dirty brownish rose color, with shimmer. It resembles Toasted very well in my opinion.
- Shade 10 (dupe for Hustle)
Shade 10 este ultimul și cel mai închis maro din paletă. Este un maro închis cu o tentă slabă spre mov și sidef auriu, însă datorită particulelor de sidef care reflectă lumina, nu am putut surprinde frumusețea nuanței. Din paleta NAKED se aseamănă cu Hustle.
Shade 10 is the last and darkest brown in the palette. It's a dark plummish brown with golden shimmer, but because of the shimmer that reflects the light, I couldn't capture the beauty of this sade. It resembles Hustle from the NAKED palette.
- Shade 11 (dupe for Creep)
Shade 11 este un gri închis cu particule argintii de sidef. Se aseamănă cu Creep din paleta NAKED.
Shade 11 is a dark grey with silver shimmer particles. It resembles Creep from the NAKED palette.
- Shade 12 (dupe for Gunmetal)
Ultima nuanță din paletă este un albastru-gri metalizat care este dupe pentru nuanța Gunmetal de la UD.
The last shade in the palette is a grey-ish blue that's a little more metallic than the other shades. It is a dupe for the Gunmetal shade from UD.
Per total, este o paletă versatilă, perfectă pentru machiajul de zi cu zi și pentru machiajele de tip smokey eyes în culori neutre. Fardurile au o consistență cremoasă și o pigmentație destul de intensă iar paleta este asociată cu faimoasa paleta NAKED de la Urban Decay. Avantajul acesteia este cel mai vizibil în preț, aceasta costând doar 4 lire comparat cu $50 cât e NAKED pe siteul oficial. Personal sunt mulțumită de calitățile acestei palete și am devenit curioasă față de restul paletelor de la MUA.
Overall, it is a versatile palette, perfect for everyday use and for neutral smokey eyes. The eyshadows are creamy and pigmented and the palette is often associated with the famous NAKED palette by Urban Decay. The advantage of this palette is the price which is 4 pounds compared to $50 for the Urban Decay one. Personally, I am satisfied with this palette's qualities and I am certainly curious about the other MUA palettes.
